getting ready for 2012 Christmas shows!

Howdy!  

Its been a very long time since I've given you some news.  The summer went by super fast and I was able to create a new collection for the Holidays.  I'm back in school now, super busy with a class full of 5th graders.  I love my stressful job but I look forward to my quiet evenings at home creating ChickRocks jewelry and paper goods.  Here's a sneak peek at some of what I'm currently working on.  Stay tuned for lots more!

2012 Spring Shows

I'm super excited to be part of a couple amazing shows in the next 2 months.  I'm hard at work creating ChickRocks beauties, everything from jewelry to new papergoods designs.  I'm sure you'll love them as much as I'm enjoying making them.  My head feels like it will explode with ideas, I just hope that I'll have enough time and energy to make everything.

1st show:  Good Saturday Market in San Antonio at the Pearl.  Saturday, March 24 from 9am to 3pm.

2nd show:  Blossom & Blooms Art Festival in San Antonio at the Inspire Fine Art Center.  Saturday, April 14 from 11am to 8pm.  Inspire is located across the Witte Museum at 200 Queen Anne Court.  

3rd show:  King William Fair in San Antonio in the King William neighborhood.  Saturday, April 28 from 9:30am to 6pm.

   

4th show:  Renegade Craft Fair in Austin at the Palmer Events Center.  Saturday + Sunday, May 19 + 20 from 11am to 7pm.

Inspirational min-journals

About 1.5 year ago, I designed some mini-cards inspired by some of my favorite Bible verses for a show at a Chosen, a church's women conference.  They were cute and personable.  Folks loved them but I was completely surprised by how well they sold at other local art fairs.

So I've decided to take this design even further.  Viola!  Mini-journals.  These are perfect for your wallet or your purse pockets.  Look for my inspirational mini-journals in my shop.
